In order to create a County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Young Democrats:

1. Check our list of Chapters and make sure that a county chapter does not exist.
2. If one does not exist, please contact our ED, Paul McKrell, at paulmckrell@gmail.com
3. You will then work with him and your Regional Coordinator to establish a chapter.
4. Go to our Tools and Resources page and download the necessary chartering documents.
5. After you have completed the application, membership list and modified our sample constitution, we must receive authorization from your Democratic Party Chair to charter you.

In order to create a High School or College Young Democrats Club:

1. Please contact our ED, Paul McKrell, at paulmckrell@gmail.com
2. We will then work with the High School Coordinator or College Coordinator to charter your club.
3. Use our DEMopolis tool to manage the e-aspects of your chapter.

Currently, our constitution permits only County Chapters and High School or College Clubs, groups that do not fit this criteria (ie, the Erie City Young Democrats, Brandywine Creek Township Young Democrats, IBEW Local 1522 Young Democrats) should contact our Executive Director, but are free to avail themselves of the DEMopolis tool.
